(Casper Star Tribute) July 1, 2017
After a nationwide search lasting two months, Kilty Brown has been selected as the executive director at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions Program.
Brown has the energy, passion and commitment to care that the board of directors sought for the position, according to a release.
She graduated with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. For the past seven years, she has worked in Casper across the continuum of care. Her experience includes three years in management positions at Central Wyoming Hospice.
As the agency’s director, she will oversee a variety of programs related to end-of-life care, including hospice services, transitions, community respite and bereavement services.
CWHP, which provides comfort-focused care to individuals with terminal illnesses, served 361 individuals and families in Natrona and Converse counties in the last year.
Brown succeeds Marilyn Connor, who retired in April and moved to Florida after 14 years with the agency.
