Camp Kesem seeks your help to serve more palliative patients’ children

Camp Kesem gives emotional support to over 7,200 children of hospice and palliative care patients, specifically those dying of cancer.

If you’ve been around Hospice Times long, you know our gracious sponsor,, matches sizable donations every year to help the great work of Camp Kesem.  Now we’re both asking for two minutes of your time to help Camp Kesem.

Here’s Camp Kesem’s CEO explaining how you can help:

Dear Kesem Friends,

Just a few minutes of your time right now could make a big difference for Camp Kesem.

Camp Kesem is very close to being “rated” by Charity Navigator–an organization that provides donors with unbiased charity evaluations and tools to help them make informed giving decisions.

Being rated (with a strong rating – which we are confident we would receive) would provide Kesem strong visibility with a broader circle of potential donors and supporters.

But to get “rated” we need an army of people “voting” for us – which effectively tells Charity Navigator that there is a strong level of interest in our charity.

Voting for Camp Kesem is easy – and will take only a few minutes. The process involves registering your email and a password before voting.

It’s simple. And the more votes we receive, the sooner we will become a rated charity.

Here’s how you can quickly help:
1. Go to the Camp Kesem National page on Charity Navigator
2. Register your email and a password
3. Vote!

(If you need more in-depth instructions on the process see this document.)

Thank you in advance for your help with this request! As we prepare to welcome over 7,200 children at camps from coast-to-coast this summer, we are grateful for your support!
